The Rochester Affiliate of the National HR Association recognizes Making an Impact Award winners!
This is the second year the Rochester Affiliate is honored volunteers who have made a positive impact in helping connect, excel and lead. This award recognizes those members in good standing who have demonstrated significant contributions to the advancement of an individual and/or to the field of Human Resources overall. We would not be able to deliver the many programs and events that we do without the assistance of our volunteers and organizations committed to the growth of human resources professionals. Two members were recognized at the annual installation meeting held on June 19, 2018.
Robert Whipple
Bob has been involved and/or served as a mentor through NHRA’s mentoring program since 2010. His mentees continually “sing his praises.” He engages, teaches, encourages, and provides practical tips and ideas to all people he mentors. His commitment to the program and the mentees is the perfect example and standard that all mentors everywhere should aim to attain whether mentoring through NHRA, a classroom, at work or other mentor relationship. Bob is also the smiling face of engagement at many NHRA functions. Thank you Bob for your continued support and valued contributions!
Lauren Bannister
Lauren has been incredibly supportive on one of our most time consuming committees – HR Executive of the Year. She has been on the committee for two years now, and she is exceptional. For the 2018 event, she played a much larger role with hospitality, registration, note taking, planning and a lot of other detailed tasks that put the personal touch on our event. She was willing to jump in and get things organized so that the event was smooth and seamless to an outside attendee. She is always positive and energetic and willing to share her ideas freely. Thank you Lauren for your dedication, attention to detail and positive energy!
