About Us
Robert T. Whipple is CEO of Leadergrow Inc., an organization dedicated to the development of leaders. He has spoken on leadership and the development of TRUST in numerous venues, including Harvard Business School. He also teaches leadership and business at several Upstate New York colleges, and worldwide through the University of Phoenix. As a leadership coach and business consultant, he works with individual clients and large organizations such as the Rochester Business Alliance.
A highly successful leader at Eastman Kodak Company for over 30 years, Mr. Whipple accomplished revolutionary change while leading a division of over 2000 people through the application of outstanding "people" skills. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College, a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University, and a Masters of Business Administration from The Simon School at the University of Rochester. He is a Management Quality "Blackbelt" from Eastman Kodak and a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) from the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
Mr. Whipple is a past president of the Genesee Valley Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. He is the former chairman of the National Leadership Development Team of ASTD and member of the National Advisors to Chapters Committee. He is also an active member of NHRA (National Human Resources Association), the Rochester Professional Consultants Network,the National Speakers Association (National and New York State), and the Global Speakers Federation.
Leadergrow, Inc. was named one of the top 100 Leadership Development organizations in the United States by Leadership Excellence Magazine, and Mr. Whipple also was named by them as one of the 100 top thought leaders in the country on the topic of Leadership Development.
A Passion for Leadership
A lifelong passion for understanding leadership and helping others grow in their leadership capabilities prompted Bob to form Leadergrow Incorporated, a teaching and consulting company devoted to strong client partnerships.
Bob's first book on leadership, entitled The TRUST Factor: Advanced Leadership for Professionals, highlights many unique points of view on leadership and the art of building and maintaining TRUST.
His second book, Understanding E-Body Language: Building Trust Online, stresses the relationship between leadership and trust in the online environment.
Bob's most recent book, Leading with Trust is Like Sailing Downwind, emphasizes that great leadership centers on the ability to Reinforce Candor and presents a new model of building Trust in organizations.

Bob resides in Hilton, New York on several acres of land. He finds the comfort of his country home both inspiring and relaxing, as he is surrounded by untamed woods and fields.
While Bob enjoys weekends in the serenity of country life, his main passion is in growing leaders.
